In Vietnam, access to knowledge, information, and channels for video art in particular and contemporary art in general remains a significant gap. Concurrently, a burgeoning trend in modern social life is the increasing demand for public art appreciation. In the context of rapid urban growth, public art projects can serve to foster a more balanced and harmonious development, bridging the divide between cultural and socioeconomic progress, as well as between spiritual and material values.
FETA—a video art projection project for the community—was initiated and carried out by APD with the goal of gradually bringing art into public spaces, workplaces, and shared living areas, thereby helping to address the existing deficit in cultural and artistic accessibility within Vietnam.
