“Art does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes visible.” Paul Klee The transition of art from classical to modern is that the artist goes from “recreating” things seen to “representing” their emotions, from attempting to simulate the outer world to explore and reflect on the inner world. A journey that goes beyond boundaries and limitations in art to express the creative “self” through new ways of seeing, understanding and expressing.

Following the theme “Modern Art – Where individuality and artistic freedom are liberated“, the talk: “From Expressionism to Surrealism: From the dissection and revitalization of life observance by sensibilities and subjective ideologies – to the metaphysis of parallel universes” will deepen and broaden the audience’s perspective and understanding about Modern Art.
